Cleaned out the freezer the other day. We often freeze fruit as it starts to go bad to cut up later to stuff dog bones, or be used for other things. Rocco benefited from our freezer purge with a frozen apple ball.
I often pick the seeds out because I have heard terrible stories of dogs eating the seeds and getting sick. I have not seen any evidence that these claims are realistic.
Has anyone else heard of apples causing problems with dogs?
